Today is Never Give Up Day

A day that serves as a reminder to keep pushing forward. To keep believing, keep trying, and to keep moving forward even when giving up might feel like the easier choice, especially when the road ahead feels difficult.

I’ll be honest, “never give up” is something I keep tucked away in the back of my mind every single day.

Because there are many days when I really do want to give up.

There are days when I’m exhausted, frustrated, sad, angry, defeated, or overwhelmed. Days when I look at everything I’ve been through and wonder how much more I can possibly handle.

And lately, there have been plenty of those days.

But somewhere in the back of my mind, I keep reminding myself that I can’t give up. That I need to keep going.

That doesn’t mean I don’t sit and wonder why I have to keep fighting. I do.

Some days, keeping going looks like taking a big step forward.

Some days, it looks more like taking a tiny step.

And some days, it simply means getting through the day and reminding myself that tomorrow is another opportunity to try again.

I’ve learned over the years that perseverance and resilience aren’t about being fearless or having everything figured out. They’re about continuing even when you’re scared, uncertain, tired, or hurting.

They’re about reminding myself that the chapter I’m in right now or the ones I’ve already lived through aren’t necessarily the end of my story.

I’ve had plenty of moments in the last twelve years when I didn’t know how I was going to get through what was in front of me.

But somehow, I did.

And then I kept going.

And somehow, I keep going.

So today, on Never Give Up Day, I’m reminding myself of that once again.

I may not always know what the next step looks like.

I may not always feel like taking it.

And there may be days when giving up feels incredibly tempting.

But I’ll keep that little reminder tucked away in the back of my mind.

Never give up.

Keep going.

One step.
One day.
One moment at a time.
