Biting Words

“Depression is living in a body that fights to survive, with a mind that tries to die.” ~ Anonymous

I’m feeling,

Purposeless. Hopeless.

Empty. Disconnected.

Indifferent. Worthless.

Lost and confused.

Alone and afraid.

Numb and unraveled.

Anxious as hell.

Exhausted as f*@k.

This is what my body is up against.

It fights to see light amongst the darkness.

It fights to feel joy.

It fights to escape from these biting words.

It fights to survive. Every. Single. Day.
