Staying Present

I am present.

I feel my breath moving in and out.

Slowly.

Deeply.

I let myself simply be.

I am gentle with myself.

Alone in the moment.

I quietly stay, even when it’s hard.

Mindful of what is coming.

I let each moment unfold without resistance.

Trusting that I can handle it.

I meet it with patience and kindness.

I rest in the knowing that I will be okay.
